Certifications

Tecnogaia since 2006 has been certified for compliance with ISO 9001 / UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 as regards the “Design and supply of services for characterization and energy resources assessment of wind sites”. In February 2018, was successfully completed the issuance of the certificate No IT06/0056 conform to the new standard ISO 9001 / UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.

The company’s commitment is designed to operate in compliance with the quality standards required by the industry and in the actual Norms (among which the main ones are summarized in the references below).

As regards the Anemometric Qualification, the best instrumentation available on the market is used, which is subjected to tests in laboratory and in site. Each wind speed sensor is also subject to an individual calibration in the wind tunnel at accredited laboratories MeasNet.

Given the centrality of the WAsP computation model in the Wind Resource Assessment, in accordance with the policies adopted insided the Quality system, it has obtained the certification of application and proper use of the WAsP computation model at the Danish Institute RISØ National Laboratory, in order to produce the best possible estimate of the resource wind.
